Shrinking equity isn't fun by any stretch, but it's something that *will* right itself, given enough time. I feel as if I am heading down the road to financial ruin myself. I have no real debt but my equity is shrinking rapidly in the current market meltdown due to things like Opes Prime. To be honest, no one really knows so I have no one to talk to - I feel embarrased about it and hope I will pull through. I am relatively young and although starting again from the start will not kill me, up until this moment in time I have always saved every cent to try to pave my way for the future.
