Two weeks ago in church, the pastor was speaking on finances.  You might be thinking - what does a pastor know about finances?  Often times, quite a bit more than you might think.  After all, pastors aren’t known for bringing home big paychecks.  And they do counsel many of the people in their church - on a variety of things that includes money.  Don’t worry, I won’t be turning this post into a religious one (  your religious beliefs are your own, and I won’t push mine onto you ).

The focus of the sermon was managing your money wisely - and one phrase stuck in my mind.  “I have enough.”  A simple phrase, to be sure.  And of course I’ve heard it before, but this time it really for some reason.  Indeed it’s a powerful phrase, and a great way to live your life.  Before you go out and buy more “stuff”, take the time to say “I have enough.”  You may just find yourself nodding your head, putting your wallet away, and not making that purchase.  Your finances will thank you.
