I might look at supercache - I've never heard of it before. Between all my sites that I have running, I'm looking at a few thousand visitors per day. That's not counting anyone else who is sharing my server. Anyway I'll give supercache a try just for good measure and see how things go. Thanks for the feedback. If you haven't already, try installing the wp-cache or wp-supercache plugin to cut down on sql queries. You should be able to serve thousands of pages a day without any problem on a shared server. Proper caching will probably do more for your speed than upgrading your hosting because the bottle-neck is in the sql queries.
