Congrats on going back to school. I think we’re making the right choice – a fancy degree will surely make things easier on us in tough times – folks with a degree will probably have more luck finding / keeping a job than folks without.

Yes, it is doable, and yes it is worth it if it leads to her earning the degree that she wants. It’s no iron-clad insurance policy for future success, but it’s a great thing to get that education. I am leaving work to return to school this Fall and it will be tough, but we are making it a priority. Good luck!

A maid would ease things a bit. But unless she cooked also, there would still be the issue of preparing healthy meals daily. If the maid is also cooking, I can only imagine how much she would cost.

At that point, it might be better to have my wife stay home, rather than pay so much for a maid.

We’re pretty close to pulling the trigger. It’s looking like we’re going to go for it – and I can’t wait. Still trying to sock away a little extra cash first, though.
